EQWatcher Evolution > Scripting  > Automatically used aliases

EQWatcher Evolution will automatically attempt to call certain aliases when specific events happen...

"New Log File Detected"

This is attempted every time a new log file is detected, as you may expect.  The default "New Log File Detected" alias in the core script simply gives the good old speech...

"Begin Log [Server Number] [Character Name]"

This is executed before a new log file is opened, after a new log file is detected and after the previous is to be ignored.  The execution is directly before the command file for the new character is executed.

"End Log [Server Number] [Character Name]"

This is executed before a log file is ignored, after a new log file is detected.  The execution is directly before the ending command file for the old character is executed.

"New EQWatcher Available"

This is attempted when the version checking feature finds that a new version is available.  The default "New EQWatcher Available" alias in the core script simply gives the good old speech...

"EQWatcher is Current"

This is attempted when the version checking feature finds that EQWatcher is current.  The default "New EQWatcher Available" alias in the core script simply... does nothing.

"Text-to-Speech now DISABLED"

This is attempted when Text-to-Speech is disabled via DisableTTS()

"Text-to-Speech now ENABLED"

This is attempted when Text-to-Speech is enabled via EnableTTS()
